Come one, come all to the Friends of the West Newton Library's Huge Book Sale at the historic Plumer House, located on South Water St. in West Newton, on Saturday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The final month of summer at Monessen Public Library & Cultural Center brings about the end of the Fizz, Boom, Read! Summer Reading Program. Before it ends though, there are several great activities left in which to participate, including a special Shooting Star program provided by the California University Meteorology Club.

On Mondays from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., we will have Tween Crafternoons. Come ready to paint, glue, bead, weave, or fold a project that's all yours! Materials will be provided.
