Now more than ever, news organizations and publishers are increasingly leaning on reader generated revenue to help them survive.  We need your support!  Beginning in 2020, the South Hills - Mon Valley Messenger has begun asking our readers to play a larger role in keeping our newspaper sustainable by becoming a 'Messenger Member', or by making a financial contribution.

We do not charge a newsstand price for a copy of the Messenger - but if you enjoy reading the Messenger and want to see it continue, and grow to serve you even better, please consider making a contribution or become a 'Messenger Member' today.

Contributions of any size help us to fulfill our mission to create a more informed public. Every time a reader like you contributes to the Messenger, no matter how big or small, it will help our continued operations and keep our newspaper viable. A recurring monthly contribution of any amount will qualify you for membership. Messenger Members will receive exclusive benefits such as:

• Member only monthly contests or drawings for event tickets or gift certificates!

What is a recurring contribution?

A recurring contribution means your donation recurs automatically on a monthly or yearly basis via your credit card that we keep on file. This provides the South Hills - Mon Valley Messenger with the sort of predictable revenue that allows us to plan budgets, and it helps eliminate renewal communications by mail, telephone or e-mail.

Can I send my donation by mail?

Yes!  Simply fill out this contribution form and mail a check or money order made payable to the South Hills - Mon Valley Messenger, and include the words "reader contribution" in the memo line, and mail it to:

Are my contributions tax deductible?

No. Contributions or gifts to the South - Hills Mon Valley Messenger, while vitally important, are not tax deductible.   Your contribution or gift is not a 'donation' - but rather a financial contribution to help us continue to produce the product and services we provide for the community.
