FREE ITALIAN COMMUNITY DINNER - The California United Methodist Church invites you to its Free Community Dinner on Wednesday, January 7, at 6:00PM at 227 Third Street, California, PA (Across from Dairy Queen). This month’s theme is ‘Italian Night.’ Whether you’re a neighbor or a new friend, we would love to have you join us at the table as we kick off the New Year together. SOUTH HILLS COIN CLUB - The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin club will be held Tuesday evening January 13, 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Bethel Park municipal building located at 5100 West Library Avenue in Bethel Park, Pa. All members and the general public are invited. This month's program will be on early copper coins. A 50/50 will be offered and children's prizes to be awarded. SCAM ALERTS AND PROTECTIONS - The South Park Women’s Club (SPWC) meeting on Monday, January 19 will begin at 7:00PM. Because there has been an increase in scams in South Park and surrounding communities, a South Park police officer will speak about who is targeted, especially seniors. They will also offer tips on how you can protect yourself and prevent this from happening to you. The meeting will be held in the South Park Township Community Center, located in the Municipal Complex on Brownsville Road (across from Bavarian Village). As usual there will be a break to partake in the club’s delicious goodies provided by that night’s hospitality group. Women from surrounding communities are welcome to attend; come as a guest and consider joining the SPWC.

FOOD BANK - The St. Vincent de Paul-sponsored food bank will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the parking lot of the St. Mary’s Social Hall (118 Church St., Brownsville) from 11:00AM until 12:00 noon. The food will be loaded directly into your car by volunteers and participants are asked to remain in their cars. Families must be registered with Fayette County Community Action Agency in order to receive food. Anyone who is not registered and lives in the Brownsville Area must complete the required paperwork before receiving their food and those who register on the day of the food bank are not guaranteed a box of food at the site and may have to travel to the food distribution warehouse in Republic. Families wishing to sign up on the distribution day will need to bring photo identification, the date of birth of each person in the household, and verification of address.

BINGO - Saints Joachim and Anne Catholic Parish- Eliabeth/ Glassport/Liberty Boro will hold a Bingo on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the St. Eugene Hall, 3210 Liberty Way, in Liberty Boro. $35 Admission Fee includes: 20 regular games, Specials, $1,000 jackpot and more.
