Library News

Monessen Public Library & Cultural Center will present the South Hills Brass and their original musical production of the Dr. Seuss classic "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on Monday, December 15 at 6 p.m.

 Whitehall Public Library is located at 100 Borough Park Dr., Pittsburgh, and can be reached at 412-882-6622. Below is their schedule of events for December:


On Saturday November 8 at 10 a.m. the West Newton library will be hosting "Read to Me: Burt & Friends." For those who do not know, Burt is the West Newton Library's mascot. Burt will also be bringing some of his other doggie friends which include Gigi, Milo, and Miranda. The event is open to everyone of all ages and is free to the public.


Monongahela Area Library will host a Holiday Shopping Show on Friday, November 21 from 2 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 22 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Crafts, gifts, and holiday baked goods from local vendors will be offered for sale within the warmth of the library.
