Monongahela Area Library will host a Holiday Shopping Show on Friday, November 21 from 2 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 22 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Crafts, gifts, and holiday baked goods from local vendors will be offered for sale within the warmth of the library.
The library will also have a Chinese auction. Come kick off the holiday season with us in a warm environment with a hot cup of cocoa or wassail and some holiday music.
Story time is now offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. for children age 18 months to 3 years old beginning in November.
The tween book club will meet on Tuesday, November 18 at 5:30 p.m. Tweens grades 5 - 7 are welcome; please sign up at the library.
Book Bites will be reading The Aviator's Wife by Melanie Benjamin and will meet on Thursday, November 20 at 1 p.m.
Come join in on the fun at the Writers Club. They meet the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the activities room at Monongahela Area Library. Writers of fiction and non-fiction are welcome.
Monongahela Area Library is the polling place for 3rd Ward 2nd, so be sure to come out and vote on November 4, and be sure to stop at the library's Election Day bake sale. Many yummy goodies will be available to satisfy your sweet tooth.
