Donora Senior Center is in need of a runner for Meals on Wheels on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  The route only takes a hour.  If you are available and interested in helping, please contact them at 724-379-6446 or donorasr@sphs.org. 

FALL CEMENT CITY HOME AND WALKING TOUR DATES SET

Our fall Cement City Home and Walking Tours are scheduled for Saturday, October 22 at 12:00 noon and Sunday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m. Choose the date that best suits you and your party.

The Clothes 4 U ministry of the First United Methodist Church, 200 State Street, Belle Vernon, will be open to the public on Tuesday, September 20 and September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  

The City of Monongahela Police Department received a substantial donation from the EQT Corporation to help with the acquisition of body cameras.  EQT Corporation donated $30,000 to the department so it could purchase and maintain the equipment.   Chief Kevin Harris said, “We can now can put ourselves in a position, thanks to this very generous donation, to be able to take advantage of this technology to protect our citizens and protect our officers, while continuing to enrich public safety.
