Apollo 11, 50th Anniversary Commemorative Silver Dollar.

Uram’s program will center on "Apollo 11 Coinage" minted in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary marking man's first steps on the moon. On July 20, 1969 the world watched as Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin made the unprecedented achievement, one that involved the work of about 400,000 Americans and secured our nation as leader in space for generations to come. The public is welcome to join society members for this informative, interesting program.

Check out the website: www.peterscreekhistoricalsociety.org to learn more about the society as well as to see the entire schedule of Wright House guided tours during the summer months. June tour dates: Sunday, June 9, 1pm-3pm and Tuesday, June 25, 6pm-8pm.
