The South Park Women’s Club (SPWC) has been busy during the holidays, putting the finishing touches on some end of year projects.

In October, the SPWC held their 25th Annual Craft Show. The craft show is their annual fundraiser and was very successful. They also participated in “Troop Appreciation” for the holidays, filling 50 stockings with lots of goodies for our troops. On December 3, the SPWC ‘elves’ will be helping out with the South Park Township ‘Light Up Night’ festivities, and serving delicious cookies and hot chocolate for those in attendance. Please be sure to join us for the South Park Township Light up Night on Monday, December 3 starting at 6:00 PM at the South Park Municipal Building.

The SPWC will not hold a regular meeting in December, but will hold an annual Christmas Dinner, with Christmas music, singing and good company (their fellow club members) with a surprise or two thrown in at that time. Regular meetings will begin again in January, on the third Monday (January 21). Women from surrounding communities, as well as South Park are welcomed to attend.
