Senior Luncheons

Picnics/luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month and include entertainment, an interesting speaker or interactive activity. This is a free event, but we ask that you bring a covered dish

Winter Clean Out…... For A Winter Work Out!

Clothing Donation Drive!   Have you been wanting to try a class? This is YOUR chance by helping the Washington City Mission. During the week of December 17 through 22 and 28 - 30 the Recreation Center instructors will be offering FREE fitness classes. We are asking those who will attend a fitness class to donate any new or slightly used men’s, woman’s, or children’s clothing.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

Candy Cane Hunt

(AGES 3 TO 5)

Bundle up and head outside to search for hidden candy canes (moved inside if weather is inclement). After the hunt, we will warm up inside the Recreation Center with a cup of hot chocolate, craft and holiday music.

Day: Thursday, December 6             Time: 1 to 2 p.m.

Fee: $5 Member / $8 Non-Member

Parents’ Night Out

(AGES 5 TO 10)

Need to do some last-minute holiday shopping or just looking for some time to yourself? Send the kids to the Recreation Center for a night of holiday themed gym games, activities, and pizza! Pre-registration is required.  

Day: Friday, December 14              

Time: 6 to 9 p.m.

Fee: $10 Member / $15 Non-Member

Mad Science: Eureka – Shipwrecked!

(AGES 5 TO 12)

This fun Saturday camp puts children on a deserted island on which they must work together to invent a means for collecting food and water, build shelters, bridges, and more.|
