Library News

Rostraver Public Library announces November Events.

The Rostraver Public Library will host a book discussion of Harper Lee's "Go Set a Watchman" on Thursday, November 12 at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to any teen or adult reader who wants to join in a discussion of how this new book has impacted the legacy of "To Kill a Mockingbird." Preregistration is requested by calling the library at 724-379-5511.

The Knitters Group will meet on the 3rd and 17th of the month at 1 p.m. and the evening session will meet on Nov. 10 and 24 at 7 p.m.

The Book Club is holding an open topic meeting on November 11 at 1 p.m. Members and potential new members are asked to bring a book that they would like to recommend or discuss with the group.

The family movie "Home" will be shown on Saturday, November 7 at 1 p.m. The PG movie is the animated story of an alien on Earth running away from his own kind. Popcorn will be provided.

The library is closed on Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
