“We are so thankful and humbled by how many ladies came out to celebrate women with us!” said Leanna Spada, Executive Director of the MVRCC and Co-Founder of the Women in Leadership Series. “If we have helped even one woman feel loved, appreciated, inspired, or safe then we have done what we have set out to do!”

The Women in Leadership Series was held on Wednesday, July 10th at Nemacolin Country Club in Beallsville, PA. Jennifer DiLucia, host of the ‘Spill with Me Jenny D’ podcast, was the keynote speaker for the more than 180 women in attendance. In addition to a featured speaker, this event included lunch, networking, and approximately 16 vendors from local female owned businesses.

Face2Face Healing, whose mission is to build a support network for individuals dealing with cancer or conditions causing an altered self-image, was selected as the charity partner for this event. cfsbank made a monetary donation of $500 and guests were encouraged to make personal donations as well.

“I am thrilled by the overwhelming response and engagement that we had at the 2nd Women In Leadership Series Event.,” commented Kelly Moore, cfsbank Business and Community Development Officer and co-founder of the Women in Leadership Series. “It was truly inspiring to see so many passionate women come together to discuss important issues, share their stories, and empower each other to strive for greater achievements.”

The next Women in Leadership Series is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, at Nemacolin Country Club. Please contact the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce at 724-483-3507 for more information.
