A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 to celebrate the completion of Phase 2 for Betty Ambler Park in Rostraver. Phase 2 included the installation of an ADA playground, picnic tables and other site amenities.

Total project cost for Phase 2 was $59,706.80 of which $55,288 in funding was obtained from a Westmoreland County Community Development Block Grant.
For Phase 3, Rostraver Township is awaiting approval on a CDBG grant in the amount of $72,129.41 (applied for $61,280 in grant funding) to install a pavilion, parking and stormwater management at the previous Betty Ambler Park Location on Zundel Street.
