Kennywood is back on the national scene, receiving recognition in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards polls with two nominations! Kennywood Park has been nominated again for ‘Best Amusement Park’ in the USA Today 10Best poll. The fan-favorite, Phantom’s Revenge, has also been nominated again for the ‘Best Coaster’ in the country. The Phantom’s Revenge is one of Kennywood’s most legendary coasters with its 232-foot drop and speed of 85 miles per hour. The USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards highlight top-notch attractions and businesses around the entire United States. Both Kennywood and the Phantom finished in the top ten in their respective polls last year.
Votes for Kennywood Park and the Phantom Revenge coaster can be cast by visiting https://10best.usatoday.com/. Those interested in casting their votes can vote once per day through Monday, April 22.
The park is gearing up for Opening Day on Saturday, April 20. This spring, Kennywood offers a one-of-kind experience with ‘Potato Smash’ - a total transformation of the park’s classic bumper car ride, themed to Kennywood’s iconic fresh-cut Potato Patch® fries.
