Fall is here. Get out the sweaters - football is in the air and so are the leaves. Let's hope the snow flurries don't join them until much later. The young seniors of "Forever Young" are looking forward to fall events.
October 7, 14, and 21:
There will be regular meetings at the Finleyville Community Center with the doors opening at 10 a.m. and meetings starting at 10:15. "Sit and Be Fit" exercises take place before the meetings and a catered lunch will be served at noon. There will be Early Bird Bingo at every meeting. There'll be scheduled speakers at 11. Blue Grass, with Reverend Roberts, will be on October 7.
October 28:
Covered Dish Dinner will be chaired by Judy Trypus. The doors will open at 10 a.m. as usual.
Happy birthday to Ellen Andrewson and Edna Colbert this October. Happy anniversary to Joe and Shirley Polacek.
Halloween is October 31st. Trick-or-treaters will be out and about. Be ready for them – both at home and while driving.
