The Baldwin Borough Public Library is pleased to announce it is hosting a certified babysitter training course from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 12 at the library.
This training is presented by the American Red Cross and will give those ages 11 and up an opportunity to become a certified babysitter. This training will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for infants and children.
It will help participants with the following:
• Develop leadership skills
• Learn how to develop a babysitting business
• Keep themselves and others safe
• Help manage behavior during babysitting
• Learn basic child care and first aid
The cost of this all-day training is offered at the library for a discounted rate of: $72.25 per person. This includes a take-home training handbook, emergency reference guide and CD-ROM.
This training is available to anyone ages 11 and up. Registrants are asked to bring a lunch.
