Step back in time and enjoy Christmas as it was when you were a kid – come to a Christmas Open House and Pajama Party to benefit Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

This event will take place on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at The Good Ol' Days Nostalgic Guesthouse, 914 Broad Avenue in North Belle Vernon (right off Interstate 70, exit 42).

Refreshments will be served and admission is a new pair of pajamas for women and children staying in the shelters. More than a million women and children are victims of domestic abuse here in the US and almost all who seek refuge arrive with just the clothes on their backs.

So, join in the Christmas spirit of giving along with an old-fashioned family tradition of a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve. Owner Melanie Patterson adds, "Your donations will make this Christmas Eve a little brighter for local women and children in our area." All are welcome - please plan to attend
