Fundraisers Being Held to Raise Money for New Trailer

By Michelle Taylor

Gaydos-Behanna Kennel has teamed up with Frankie's Friends Mobile Clinic for the last few years to provide low-cost spay and neuter services in various communities, including Blaine Hill in Elizabeth Township.

Pictured are Frankie's Friends Mobile Clinic volunteers (l-r): Brittney Bodzer, Kassy Behanna, Dr. Becky Morrow, and Shelley McBride.

The spays and neuters are mobile, which means they are performed inside a sterilized trailer on specified days in each community.

During the last clinic, Frankie's Friends were on their way when a tire blew and the weight of the trailer broke the axel, halting scheduled clinics. The two kennels were able to borrow a trailer temporarily to continue clinics.

A new trailer will cost $14,000, so the two kennels are hosting a fundraiser to help raise the money. Elizabeth Forward school district has collected money and supplies for both kennels, and there is an online fund account set up for monetary donations. If you would like to help out, here are the ways you can do so.
