The Leadership Washington County (LWC) Class of 2015 is planning an exciting one-day workshop on March 25 for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students from Washington County schools.

California University of PA's Center for Innovation at Southpointe will be the setting for this workshop that will provide inspirational speakers and stimulating exercises to help our students attain leadership and creative thinking skills.

Workshop sessions for the 9th and 10th grade students will focus on communication skills, teambuilding and volunteerism. Sessions for the 11th grade students will focus on creative thinking and problem solving.

Over 18 county organizations and individuals have committed to assist with funding or gift-in-kind items, with Washington Financial Bank as a top sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities are still welcomed.

For more information, contact Melissa Marion, class participant, at 724-258-1855.
