For artists and aspiring artists, South Arts announces spring 2015 art classes for the community.
In April, Judith Lauso will hold a 4-week watercolor sketch class, delving into techniques and design for anyone who enjoys or would like to use watercolor. Pat Bocan will introduce techniques for painting a fine-art portrait in oil using methods to insure an accurate likeness of the subject. Gail Beem will instruct on going beyond blues and greens in the landscape as she continues her pastel course in painting landscapes for a June workshop. Those interested in trying PanPastels can attend a workshop by Diane Murray in either May or June.
Check for details and dates of the classes at http://www.southartspittsburgh.org-classes. South Arts is a non-profit organization whose function is to bring art to the community. Classes are held in the Gallery at the Historic School House in Bethel Park.
