In an effort to save more animals, the Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team (PAART) is launching a fundraising campaign with a goal of $25,000. The money will be used to fund additional flights to transport rescued animals to their new homes, purchase food and supplies for needy shelters, and grow their outreach and educational programs.
The campaign officially kicked off on Indiegogo.com on July 13 and will run for 45 days, until September 11, 2014. The campaign page can be found at http://igg.me/at/paart and includes stories, pictures, and videos and will continually be updated with new information about PAART rescue missions and success stories.
The reward for the top donation level is a personalized original acrylic-on-canvas painting by Pittsburgh pop artist Burton Morris. Other rewards include a PAART flight suit, puppy prize pack, recognition on their Facebook page, and the ability to sponsor a whole mission or save one dog.
100% of donations will go directly to helping to save animals and PAART is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization so donations may be tax-deductible.
