The Southwestern Area Agency on Aging, Inc. is looking for individuals in your area to open their homes and offer a homelike family environment for eligible adults that are unable to live independently due to physical, intellectual or age related impairments.

The Area Agency on Aging has been offering Domiciliary Care services throughout Fayette, Greene and Washington counties for over 30 years.

Domiciliary care providers come from all walks of life. They are everyday people making a difference in their communities and in the lives of others. In return, they retain $970 a month for each individual residing in their home for services that are provided. Services include cooking, cleaning, laundry, medication set-up, scheduling and providing transportation to medical appointments. Domiciliary care homes can accommodate 1-3 residents and are certified to meet the required fire, health and local zoning standards.

If you are interested in becoming a certified domiciliary care provider and providing a quality living alternative, or if you want to refer someone who will benefit from the programs services, contact Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging Domiciliary Care Program at 1-800-411-5655.
