Did you know that witnessing violence between one's parents or caretakers is the strongest risk factor of transmitting violent behavior from one generation to the next? If you are suffering from abuse, your children may be suffering also.

Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA provides safe shelter and support services for victims of domestic violence and their children. Services are free and confidential. Weekly support group in a confidential setting is also available for victims of domestic violence. Whether you are currently in an abusive relationship or have already left one; Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA empowerment counseling can help you. Our individual empowerment counseling provides one-on-one counseling, information and referrals, and advocacy (general & legal).
