The Peters Township Recreation Center, located at 700 Meredith Drive, Venetia, PA 15367 is offering a variety of programs and events during the month of August.

YOUTH AND CHILDREN EVENTS
Playground Pals
(AGES 4 TO 6)
1-week sessions for children who enjoy games, sports, crafts and using their imagination. This is a great introductory camp for our littlest campers. Pre-registration required online or at the Community Recreation Center

Kidzone Summer Camp
(AGES 7 TO 12 YEARS)
Kidzone Summer Camp “Passport to Adventure” join us as we travel through the different adventures of the world. Children participate in innovative, hands on activities and will discover the importance of living a well-balanced life while having fun. Themed games, arts/crafts, nature hikes and a world of adventure. Children will need a brown bag lunch every day. Location: Peterswood Park, Shelter #4

Under Water Theater Camps At Peterswood Park
Underwater adventure theater Camp. Come sing, dance and act with your favorite little mermaid. Games, costuming, choreography, props! The week and will end with a special evening performance at the amphitheater. Instructor: Lorra Brannen Evening Performance on August 9 at 7 p.m.

OUTDOOR MOVIES IN PETERSWOOD PARK - Come to the Amphitheater in Peterswood Park and enjoy movies at sunset! Remember to bring along a chair or blanket. Movie titles can be found on our website or on Facebook. Food truck concessions provided by eKernally Yours Gourmet Popcorn & Sweet Treats.

Luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of each month and include entertainment, an interesting speaker, or interactive activity. This is a free event, but we ask that you bring a covered dish or dessert to share.
