The Greater Washington Food Bank is offering classes and trainings to teach, empower, and enable our neighbors to make healthy choices and create healthy habits for themselves and their families. Below is their May schedule:
May 1 – Dementia Discussion – When wandering turns dangerous. 1 p.m.
May 14 – Decorative container gardens. Hands-on workshop. 10 a.m.
May 10, 17, 24, and 31 – Nutrition Links: a series on Healthy Eating. Free event. 1 p.m.
May 24 – Functional garden art. Make and take a birdbath. 6 p.m. $15.
