The Women of Southwestern PA, Inc. are hosting a social about wellness on March 16, 2017. Join us to learn more about acupuncture.
Did you know that you may be able to use acupuncture for almost everything that would require a visit to your regular doctor? "Acupuncture 101" with licensed acupuncturist Kristen Happe, L.Ac., will give you a brief overview of acupuncture's history, its current medical relevance, how it works, what to expect during a treatment, and what to look for in a practitioner. It will start with a 10-minute video, followed by a lecture on some of the finer details. Kristen will teach the group a take-home stress relieving acupressure treatment, and do live demonstrations for pain management. It will end with a Q & A session.
