Join us for a Ukrainian Easter egg decorating class. There are three dates to choose from: Saturday, March 18 or Saturday, March 25 starting at 12:30 p.m. or Wednesday, March 29, at 6 p.m.

The class is two parts. The first part is approximately 3 hours long, consisting of a brief Pysanky history, creating your beautiful egg and sealing it. A second day of just 10 - 15 minutes is required to remove the yolk. First-time participants will choose between 2 intermediate designs. Returning students may choose a more difficult design.

Classes will be held at The Center for Active Adults, corner or Main and North Water Streets, West Newton, PA.

Class size is limited so reservations are required. Age to participate is 13 and older. To make reservations, you can contact Joyce at 412-720-9067 or email mapaw1@yahoo.com. Advanced payment of $20 will secure your spot. Checks can be made payable to The West Newton Community Festival and mailed to PO Box 147, West Newton, PA.
