Peters Township Recreation Center Upcoming Events

Peters Township Recreation Center, located at 700 Meredith Drive, Venetia, is offering the following classes and has the following activities scheduled at the Community Center. Pre-registration required.  You can view all class information online at www.peterstownship.com for further information and cost.

 FROSTY’S FUNHOUSE

(AGES 10 AND UNDER)

Stop by Frosty’s Funhouse at the Peters Township Community Recreation Center for some holiday fun!  Play games, make gifts, and even write your letter to Santa.  Parents must remain with their children during the event.

Day:  Sunday, December 4, 2016                

Time:  2 to 4 p.m.

Fee:  $5 Resident / $8 Non-resident (per child participating)

 Tree Lighting

Come to the Peters Township Municipal Complex to see Santa arrive in his shiny red fire truck and enjoy the sounds of the season, followed by a visit with Santa, a craft and refreshments in the library immediately following the Tree Lighting ceremony.  All ages are welcome.  Come and enjoy the evening and meet and greet old and new friends.

Day:  Sunday, December 4, 2016                 

Time:  6 p.m.

Fee:  Free

 DECORATE A TREE FOR WILDLIFE - PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

(AGES 3-5)

Minimum 6 – Maximum 20

Throw on a chef hat and create tasty treats for the wildlife living in and around Peterswood Park!  Instruction and materials provided by the Peters Township Parks and Recreation staff.  Register at the Community Recreation Center or online www.peterstownship.com.

Day:  Thursday, December 15

Time:  10 to 11 a.m.

Fee:  $5 Member / $8 Non-member (per child)

Location:  Community Recreation Center

Registration Deadline:  Tuesday, December 13

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT

(AGES 5 TO 10 YEARS)

Minimum 10 – Maximum 35

Need to do some last minute holiday shopping or just looking for some time to yourself?  Send the kids to the Peters Township Parks & Recreation Center for a night of gym games, pizza and a movie!  Pre-registration is required.

Day:  Friday, December 16, 2016

Time:  6 to 9 p.m.

Fee:  $10 Member / $15 Non-member
