On Saturday November 5th, the Broughton VFW sponsored an oldies dance at the Broughton Volunteer Fire Hall. It was very fun and a successful night, and patrons rocked out to the music from the Mansfield 5 Band.
Jackie’s Catering provided the food, and guest speakers were Commander James Wabby, Judge Ron Arnoni, and Township Commissioner Ed Snee.
The VFW wants to give a special thanks to Broughton Fire Department for the use of the hall, bartenders Amber and Leann, the VFW Ladies Group, retired police officer Tom Roshay, the merchants who donated items for the Chinese auction, and everyone who attended.
