The Donora Public Library March recently released its March schedule of events.

 Hours of Operation:

Mon. – Thurs. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sundays – Closed

We will be CLOSED Friday, March 25th & Saturday, March 26th for the Easter Holiday.

Wednesday, March 2, 2016: Board Meeting @ 6 p.m.

All programs and clubs are FREE to public!

Book Club:

The club will be discussing the book One Breath Away by Heather Gudenkauf. This book is a hostage fiction book about the town of Broken Branch that is on code red lockdown after an unknown gunman walks into an elementary school classroom.

The club will next be reading Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn.

If you would like to be in on the discussion, there is room available for you to join.

If you have a little one at home between the ages of 2 and 5, come join our story time hour. Miss Angie always has a good book to read and a really fun craft to do. This month Miss Angie has a lot of fun activities about Spring and Easter!

Lego Club:

 The boys and girls in the Lego Club don’t just create Lego creations - we socialize and have a really fun time. Space is still available if you like to join us in the fun. This program is for children ages 6 through 14.

WEE Build:

Saturday, March 19, 2016 @ 1 p.m.

Room is still available for this program. The Wee Build hour is an hour of free play for children that are too young for Lego Club. Like the Lego Club, the younger children will get to build and create any structure they want. This program is for children ages 1 through 5.

***Community Garden***

We are still accepting sign-ups for our community garden. If you are interested in growing a beautiful garden this year come on in and sign up for your plots before they are all GONE!

***Flea Market & Book Sale***

The Donora Public Library will holding another Flea Market and Book Sale on Saturday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are also accepting donations of household goods and books to put in the flea market. Any donations are greatly appreciated. We will not be accepting clothing or stuffed animals.

***Tax Forms***

Any and all tax forms and booklets that the State and Federal Reserve have sent out are available in the rear area of the Library.
