Leaders and Business Owners from Bethel Park, South Park and Castle Shannon Hold Summit to Promote ‘Shop Locally’ Campaign
On July 12, 2017, the Bethel Park Chamber will be hosting leaders and business owners from Bethel Park, Castle Shannon, and South Park to discuss the following topic: “Reframing our Communities for the Future.” The summit will be held on July 12, 2017 at Cool Springs from 11 a.m. -2 p.m.
This is the second annual leadership summit for the Chamber. Over 100 invitations have been sent to various businesses and leaders to attend. The discussion will involve the partnership and potential working relationships with the local officials, businesses, schools and community organizations.
One of the initiatives is enhancing the area with a “Drive, Dine and Develop Locally” program. Keeping and making our dollars work at home and in our communities benefits everyone. The Chamber wants to get all three communities to participate and make the 2017 Shop Local Sparkle Campaign a season to remember.
We are asking our restaurants, shops, schools and organizations to get out and support this campaign by contacting the Chamber at 412-595-8361 or admin@bpchamber.org. The Chamber is looking for offerings with discounts, activities and promotional items. Let the Sparkle Campaign begin planning.
Tune in for Bethel Park Chamber’s BPTV ‘Good Work’ Series
Working in conjunction with BPTV and Dave Cable, the Bethel Park Chamber offers its members an opportunity to educate the community about their operations and product offerings. Approximately four businesses a month can be shown. Home-based businesses can particularly benefit from this opportunity. For a home-based business, getting known and educating the people about your product, service and business operation is a requirement in building relationships.
‘Empowering Women’ Series on BPTV
Denise Galloni of DGSolutions is hosting a show called ‘Empowering Women’ on BPTV. Each month, a few women in leadership roles will be featured. Denise has been developing shows for social media and is now expanding her outreach to local TV. She is providing women with a great opportunity to share their stories and to help inspire women to continue to reach for their goals. Tune in and watch ‘Empowering Women’ to gain insight as to what makes each of them successful in their leadership roles.
