The Pleasant Hills Arboretum is seeking volunteers for a tree planting, Saturday, November 15 from 9 - 11 a.m. The 18 trees are a grant from Tree Vitalize & W. PA Conservancy.


Santa Trolley will begin on Friday November 28. During Santa Trolley, children take a trolley ride with Santa and make sure that he has their Christmas lists, while parents and grandparents enjoy caroling and the scenic view from a beautifully restored vintage streetcar.

On Sunday, September 21, many local residents ate out and made a donation to the Mon Valley Food Bank and the Finleyville Food Pantry by attending a roast beef dinner at St. Francis Finley Hall.
