VFW Post 1940 Broughton/Curry is in the process of refurbishing the honor roll located at the corner of Cochran Mill Road and Hough Drive. We are planning to remove several trees, change around the walkway and do some much-needed maintenance of the structure.

The Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter of the Regional Trail Corporation will hold its annual Poker Run on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2017.

On June 18, 2017 at Chartiers Park in Bridgeville, S City Outdoors held their first annual fishing tournament in conjunction with the Hope for Heroes Foundation. This year’s tournament was in honor of slain Canonsburg police officer, Scott Bashioum.
