October will be a busy month for the members of the Bethel Art Guild (“BAG”). Along with their regular business meeting and guest speaker, they will be preparing to participate in the first Art show of the season.

The October meeting will be held on October 5 at 12:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Chuck Percherke of Summerset, PA. Chuck graduated from the Ivy School of Professional Art, where he developed his shills as an industrial display designer. He has designed record albums and has expanded his art field to working with several local recording studios that produce music CD’s.

In the Bethel Art Guild, membership also gives you the ability to show your work at art shows and exhibits in the area. “The Galleria Fall Art Show” has always been a wonderful venue for doing just that, this year it is scheduled for Oct. 6th -15th. If you have art hanging in the show you get a chance to do; “an artist sitting”, for a few hours. This gives the public a chance to meet the artists, and gives the artist a chance to network with other local artists, the public and art collectors. Many art works are sold at this venue and the general public is always very supportive and appreciative of all the art work.

Come and Join us on Thursday October 5th at the Bethel Park Community Center, 5151 Park Ave., Bethel Park, PA. 15102. We hope you will join us for our meeting, lunch, and our speaker.
