Local Winners at the 2019 Greater Pittsburgh Soapbox Derby

Winners of the 2019 Greater Pittsburgh Soapbox Derby held on Sunday June 16 down Eden Park Blvd. in McKeesport were:

  • SoapBox July 2019
     
    Stock     - Aaron Cox (sponsored by Mon Valley Integration)
  • Superstock - Alta Bialon (Sponsored by Alpine Packaging)
  • Masters - Stephen Westfall (Sponsored by Rocket Oldsmobile Club)

These winners will move on to the National Finals on July 20 at Derby Downs in Akron, OH. Participating in the celebrity race was Mikey Hood of Pittsburgh Today Live. Also in attendance were Mayor Mike Cherepko, State Rep Bill Kortz and County Councilman Bob Macey.
