Seniors

Happy spring! Our daily activities include lab services, and lunch is served at noon. Please call us at least a day in advance to order lunch.

Mondays we have watercolors, piano lessons, choir and bridge, Tuesdays include billiard lessons, chair dancing, Healthy Steps, bingo, dart ball and cards. Wednesdays involve Bible study, bean bag toss, basket guild, and 500 Bid, and Thursdays have chair dancing, Healthy Steps, bridge, jam sessions, and bingo. Fridays are special with Wii bowling and euchre.

We also have blood pressure screenings twice a month, foot appointments with the podiatrist, a beauty shop on W, TH, and F by appointment, massage therapy with Bethany by appointment, and our jam session every Thursday at 1 p.m. with a lot of local, talented musicians! Every Thursday is popcorn day, and Friday is our pizza day! We also rent our dining hall out for different events. Call for more details!

• Monday, May 2 - Mother's Day Vendor Show from 10 a.m. -1 p.m.
• Wednesday, May 11 - Identity Theft Presentation with Citizens Bank at 11 a.m.
• Friday, May 13 - Sock Hop! Wear your favorite 50's clothing, and dance with DJ Ted at 11 a.m.
• Saturday, May 14 - Evening Dance with Outpost Band from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. $7 admission.
• Tuesday, May 17 - Breast Cancer Mobile Unit will be here at the Center! Free breast exams from 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
• Friday, May 20 - Exercise and games with Anova Healthcare at 11 a.m.
• Monday, May 23 - Country Western Day! CITW choir concert, and wear your cowboy hat! 11 a.m.
• Wednesday, May 25 - National Senior Health & Fitness Day/Open House! Vendors, exercise demonstrations, health fair, entertainment, give-a-ways all day, and tour the Center! 10 a.m. -3 p.m.
• Friday, May 27 at 6 p.m. - Paint & Sip/Silent Auction. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at Center In The Woods. $30 per ticket. BYOB. Will be serving appetizers, lemonade and iced tea. Call 724-938-3554 for tickets.
