Seniors

The West Newton Senior Center is planning a day trip to Ohio in November.

On November 8, we will depart 7 a.m. from the Yough Ballroom parking lot, N. Riverside Dr. off of N. Water St., West Newton and arrive at 9:30 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. We will be greeted upon arrival and given a small talk and a coupon book for purchases.

At 11:30, we'll depart to McKinley Museum, and be greeted by President McKinley and given a welcome speech. They will serve a delicious buffet luncheon followed by a self-tour of the museum and, weather permitting, the beautiful tomb.

At 2:30, we'll depart for the ChrisKindl shops at the Canton Museum of Art. There will 100 juried vendors selling their beautiful wares, cafés, and places to rest and visit. We will depart for home at either 4:30 or 5 p.m., whenever everyone is through shopping and ready to depart.

Cost is $90. Full payment is your reservation, and we need 30 people as a minimum. Cancellations only if you replace yourself. Mail your payment to West Newton Senior Center, 103 E. Main St., West Newton, PA 15089. For more information, call Lou Ann Petronick at 724-872-4976.
