The final tally is in, and the school raised $7,392.15 for the American Heart Association. In honor of American Heart Month in February, Jefferson Elementary students celebrated by participating in The American Heart Association’s ‘Jump Rope for Heart’ event. Students actively collected donations and participated in a jump rope challenge led by physical education teachers Mrs. Conboy and Mr. Guidash. Heartfelt thanks to Kristen Putignano and the JES PTA, as well as everyone at Jefferson Elementary, for making this event a huge success!
