On Friday February 26, third grade students in Mrs. Anselmino’s, Mrs. Yonkers’, Mrs. Parzich’s, and Mrs. Schmeltz's classes had a very exciting day.

| K9 Officer Drago visits RESN |
Third grade is involved with a unit of study in which they learn about police dogs and service dogs. As such, the classes enjoyed a wonderful visit with Officer Matthew Mancini and his K9 partner, Drago. Officer Mancini works with the North Strabane Police Department with Mrs. Schmeltz's husband, Matt.
Officer Mancini was kind enough to share more information regarding the importance of his partner Drago. It was a great experience for the third graders to see a real life K9 police dog. It will be a memory they will never forget.
