To start the month of November off, Mon Valley CTC students held a ‘Slap Me Silly’ hockey contest to raise money for The Ronald McDonald House.

Mr. Hennehan, director, suited up in hockey goalie gear and graciously took hockey slap shots from students all day long. Any student who made the shot was put into a drawing for local gift cards. This fundraiser raised $304.
The school will be collecting pop tabs until April for the Ronald McDonald house and will hold a hoagie sale in December to make care packages for the patients at our local house.
