School News

The Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a "Recycled Mug Bird Feeder" Preschool Program for 3-5 year olds at Mingo Creek County Park on Wednesday, November 5 at the Park Office.

Two sessions are available; Session I will begin at 10 a.m. and Session II will begin at 1 p.m.

Bring along an old coffee mug (with handle) and a teaspoon. Preschoolers will be making recycled bird feeders filled with tasty bird treats. The Parks and Recreation Department will supply the bird food.

Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation office at 724-228-6867. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. There is a $1 fee for this program.
