To honor the service of Mrs. Rosalie Carroll, a member of the Charleroi Area School Board for more than 24 years, a memorial donation was made by Mrs. Patsy Brinker, current school board member, to the Charleroi Elementary Library. The money was used to purchase library books for the students at the elementary center.
The late Mrs. Carroll was a teacher in the Bentworth school district before her dedicated service on the school board at Charleroi. Mrs. Carroll has several family members with connections to the district.
