State Representative Bill Kortz provided the 7th and 8th grade students at Pleasant Hills Middle School with an educational presentation today on the consequences of prescription drugs.

His office brought in Phillip Little, Education and Outreach Unit Specialist with the PA Attorney General’s Office, to speak about the growing problem of prescription drug abuse among teenagers. The presentation featured the story of a young man whose dependence on prescription drugs led him down an unexpected path of destruction. Thank you to Rep. Kortz for bringing this important presentation to PHMS!
