At Gospel Alliance Church (GAC) current and varied ministries are active and well attended, even now. Along with most businesses and organizations, GAC is pragmatic in finding ways to continue to gather together amid current crisis.

Social distancing is observed, while Gospel Alliance staff and volunteers pray for church and community members

Rev. Robert (Bob) Riconda, stated “Preaching by itself will not disciple most people; instead they need the information plus a life on life relationship. . .[the] process is not a program or a class but a relational journey. . . a journey that is shown by positive movement, not perfection.” Ministry and relationships will not stop, the church remains in motion.

Drive-thru prayer times have started at the church, located right along Route 51 south and Fells Church Road, in Belle Vernon. Community and church members are able to pull right in and drive around to a prayer station.

“As the Coronavirus pandemic evolves daily many are feeling lonely, disconnected or overwhelmed,” said Pastor Bob. “We are offering a safe place to drive thru and be prayed for. Let’s care for each other during these uncertain times.”

Drive-thru prayer dates and times are as follows:

  • Sundays 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Fridays 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Nothing will be handed out and social distancing will be observed.

In addition, youth, adult groups, and families are meeting via video calls. Pastor Bob has already posted multiple videos and will continue to do so. The church also sends out weekly and daily updates via email and the Remind101 texting service. Links to videos, previous audio sermons, and more, can be found on the Gospel Alliance Church facebook page or on their website at www.gospelalliancechurch.org. You can call the office directly for more information at 724-823-0453. GAC is located at 1011 Fells Church Road, Belle Vernon, PA 15012
