After thirty years Ms. Elaine M. Phillips, Rostraver Township Tax Collector, is retiring. Phillips has endorsed Jody Spedaliere for Rostraver Township Tax Collector due to his ambition and fiscal responsibility. Spedaliere has been shadowing her office and would be honored to be a public servant for all citizens of Rostraver Township.

Having spent the last twenty-five years in higher education, most recently at California University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, and Westmoreland County Community College, Spedaliere understands the necessity of accountability when working with the public. Spedaliere demonstrates this through his organization, attention to detail, clear thinking, and strong work ethic, which are all essential to the position of tax collector.

Raised to see the importance of community involvement, Spedaliere has spent much of his life volunteering and helping others. A twenty year resident of Rostraver Township, Spedaliere has served as a Rostraver Township T-ball coach, a Rostraver Township Pack 1590 Cub Scout Leader, and a catechist at Saint Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. He is also a member of the Rostraver Elementary School PTO and serves on the Board of Directors for the Rostraver Public Library.
