Carroll Township Board of Supervisors appointed a new member of their board at the February 4 monthly meeting. Ken Hillman will replace Supervisor James Harrison, who passed away in January.
Mr. Hillman, an engineer and member of the Sewage Authority Board, was selected among other qualified candidates because of his experience, according to the board members.
Also at the meeting, Carroll Township Police announced that they will be increasing traffic monitoring, and emphasis will be placed on school bus routes. Residents are reminded to obey traffic laws, in particular stopping for school buses.
