The South Park Township Police Department was recently awarded the AAA Community Traffic Safety Platinum Award.

This is the 12th year the Township received the award, and the 6th year for the platinum distinction. The award is based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, police department statistics, infrastructure improvements, bridge repairs/replacement, etc. There are various award levels, with platinum being the most prestigious.
