Residents of West Elizabeth have an opportunity to request Port Authority to reinstate public transportation. An annual service request will be submitted to the Scheduling and Planning Department of Port Authority.

The board of directors will meet in early 2018 to make a final decision. If the request is approved, the change will take effect in September 2018.

Residents can submit letters to Port Authority to explain their desire to bring the bus back to town. The letters will be submitted along with the formal request and can be dropped off at the borough building or given to a council member. They can also be sent by email to prwestelizabeth@gmail.com or mailed to the borough office at: West Elizabeth Town Council, 800 Fourth Street, Box 716, West Elizabeth, PA 15088.
