During a recent council meeting of Elizabeth Township, the meeting began with Officer Dan Novecek of the Canine Committee, who stated that K-9 office Eli is now 16 months old and is a cross between a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois. He still has some training to do, as he's halfway trained on bite work. Novacek has raised over $4,000 and says they hope to raise more. All donations can be sent to the Elizabeth Township Municipal Building, Attention: K-9 unit.
