The West Newton Library will be hosting its annual big book sale on Friday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The sale will take place at the Historic Plumer House, located at 131 South Water Street in West Newton.

We have four large rooms filled to the brim with hardback and softback books. We have had quite a few large donations this year and we will be offering over 2,000 books at this sale. The selection is incredible! We will be selling paperbacks for 25 cents and hardbacks for $1, or you can fill a bag for $5. For those who have attended this sale in the past, we have moved it up from the fall to the summer due to so many donations.

All proceeds from the sale help to maintain the library 100%, since we receive no state funding. If you would like to donate books to library, please give the library a call at 724-972-3229. The West Newton Library is a member of the Westmoreland Library Network.
