Frosty Cone, an independently owned and family-operated ice cream shoppe for over 30 years in Elizabeth Borough, have decided to include a treat for puppies on their menu. .

Missy, a Lhasa Apso, can't wait to finish her cold creamy treat.

Ted and Jan Lippzer, owners of Frosty Cone, has sold ice cream for puppies but they were previously sold as kids cups on the menu. This year they are featuring "puppy cups" for $1.45 and donating 50% of all proceeds to White Oak Animal Safe Haven. Their daughter, Kearsten, is heading up the project.

With the seasonal opening of Frosty Cone on March 7th, the have already sold over 100 puppy cups, and their goal is to sell as many as they can to help out another reputable local business. They would like to continue this fundraiser every year, possibly spreading out the help by choosing a new shelter each year.
